Bass fishing has still been incredible. They are still running lots of water through the dam which is great for summertime fishing. I am still finding schools of fish but the lake is getting hammered with fishing pressure. So the fish are moving around a lot to get away from that fishing pressure. Main lake points are still producing. I like to look for not so obvious spots and some very obvious spots. Learn to use your electronics if you have them. Make sure there are some bait fish in area. Any of your favorite baits that get near the bottom will work. Crank baits, jigs, worms, swim baits, all of the above. The fish most days are still on the bottom but they move around every day. Some days they are shallow, some days a little deeper. Have fun chasing them around its a blast! Here are some fish pictures from the past few trips.
